Burger King has introduced a new product onto the market.
Satisfries!!! A relatively “healthier” French Fry Product that is less in fat, lower in calories and supposedly just as delicious. Read the article here.
The Sastisfried Crinkle Cut French Fry has less fat and lower calories than their largest competitor’s, McDonalds, fry product.
1) What was the thinking of BK in introducing such aproduct? Draw a Supply and Demand diagram to support your clams.
Don’t think McDonalds is just going to sit around and watch BK take some of their sales without a fight! With in days after Burger King’s announcement, McDonalds bombarded media with a flurry (get it!) of announcements of their own including offering salads, fruit or vegetables options for meal deals as an alternative to french fries.
